Dr. Karolyn Kopcza
Karolyn Kopcza, DDS treats children and adults at Englewood Dental in need of interceptive orthodontics, corrective orthodontics, and those wishing to improve their smile.
Dr. Kopcza decided to become an orthodontist at the age of 12 after receiving orthodontic care herself. She was so thrilled with the positive effects of her treatment, she knew she wanted to help others gain confidence and beautiful new smiles they would love to show off.
Dr. Kopcza graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in Neuroscience from Lafayette College in 2007. She earned her DDS at the University of Maryland in 2011, where she was awarded the prestigious Department of Orthodontics Harry E. Kelsey Award, the Dean’s Award for Outstanding Commitment to Community Service, and the AAWD Smiles for Success Award. Dr. Kopcza continued her education with a one year general practice dental residency at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, NY, followed by a three year residency in orthodontics at St. Barnabas Hospital. She received her Certificate in Orthodontics in June 2015, and is a Board eligible orthodontist.
Dr. Kopcza is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Northeast Society of Orthodontists, and the American Association of Women in Dentistry. She is certified in Invisalign and lingual orthodontic systems, and is dedicated to continuing her education with the latest techniques and technology.
