Dr. Cara Minichetti is a general dentist who practices cosmetic, implant, and reconstructive dentistry at the Center for Implants and Aesthetics. She makes her patients’ health and comfort a priority and does everything she can to ensure a stress-free visit.
Dr. Cara Minichetti graduated from Georgetown University with high honors and went on to complete her dental training at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. There, she ranked in the top one percent of her class and received numerous awards for clinical and didactic excellence. After gaining her doctorate in dental surgery, she completed post-graduate training at the Newark Beth Israel Medical Center general practice residency.
Dr. Cara Minichetti is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), an organization that grants membership to clinicians demonstrating clinical proficiency in surgical and prosthetic dental implant techniques, in-depth knowledge of dental implants, and commitment to excellence in dental implant practice. She has passed the AAID’s exam for Associate Fellowship and has also been invited to share her implant research at the AAID Annual Conference 2022. Dr. Cara Minichetti has presented past research focusing on patient-provider communication at events including the Greater New York Dental Meeting and the American Academy of Dental Education Annual Meeting.
Dr. Cara Minichetti serves as a faculty member in the dental residency program at Englewood Hospital, sharing her skills and expertise with post-graduate students. Always striving to bring her patients the most cutting-edge techniques and technologies, she is currently one of fourteen nationally completing the first-ever Mastership Specialty in Comprehensive Oral Implantology at Jacksonville University.
